Dr. Horn will not be able to determine the recovery time post operatively until the patient has been seen and medical records have been reviewed. The recovery period is primarily determined based on the type of surgery, which can be discussed in more detail during your appointment. Generally, most people recover from minor surgery within 4-6 weeks. Larger reconstructive procedures will often require a longer recovery period. Recovery expectations will be discussed during your visit.
